Mini Moke For Sale Sold

Sold

In Diamond White with black trim.

According to the detailed records from the Mini Moke Club, this Moke was built in late 1985 in Portugal and was supplied to an Englishman living there. The specification included Front seats with headrests, a roll cage, side screens for the hood, rear mud flaps and a laminated windscreen. It has since had seat belts fitted.

He took delivery in the middle of February 1986 and used it sparingly until 1995, by which time he had covered just over 3,000 miles, when he decided to return to the UK bringing the Moke with him.

Duncan Hamilton Ltd, importers of Mokes from Portugal, handled everything and it was delivered to Southampton aboard the 'Arcade Falcon' in July '94. Duncan Hamilton converted the car to right hand drive, fitted a rear boot locker, heater and MPH speedo as they did when importing the cars new, and it was registered and went to live in London.

The (original) owner purchased an hotel in Sussex and the Moke went to live with him. It was registered to his son and to his company during this period although it stayed at the hotel until eventually, he sold it on to a Mini specialist who in turn sold it its last owner who has owned for the last eight years and four thousand miles.

The Moke has now covered just over 8,000 miles and is in fine condition. The original Sales invoice is in the file and there is a good history file documenting its ownership, importation in to the UK, the maintenance carried out along with an informative piece on its build from the Moke Club who confirm that the specification is correct including the steel wheels which did not have wheel trims fitted.
