MGB GT For Sale Sold

In Flame red with black interior.

Mr. Stepney of Rochester, Kent acquired the MGB in 2003 from its first owner. From 2005 to 2011 it received a documented and photographed bodywork restoration. As part of the work, the 1.8 litre, twin carb engine was rebuilt in 2010 at 43,000 miles including new bearings, pistons,  and a duplex timing chain. The engine bay is beautifully detailed.                                                                                                                                     There are countless invoices for brackets, seals, hoses, widgets and so on. The chromework has been left original.

The interior received new carpets and trim as necessary and the car went back on the road in 2011.

The Heritage Certificate shows that the MG is a UK supplied vehicle and that it came without an overdrive gearbox.

In 2012 a good customer of ours bought the car and had a Hi-Gear Engineering Five Speed Gearbox conversion fitted by MG specialists in South London along with a new clutch and some brake work.

2,000 miles have been covered since the restoration and the MG is driving beautifully, the five speed gearbox really adding to the enjoyment.
