Rover 110 For Sale Sold

Sold

In beautiful Burgundy with a superb, original tan interior.

The last owner, a Rover collector of some note, purchased the 110 in 1987. He commissioned a rebuild which included light bodywork restoration, overhaul of the brakes and clutch, a refesh of the chromework and a cylinder head rebuild. It was then shown at the NEC and various Rover events before then being used for club road runs here and in France.

It has covered 12,000 miles since the restoration and the car remains in excellent, rust free condition. It runs beautifully having been constantly fettled and cared for over the last twenty five years. It has been garaged during this time.

The interior is in lovely original order with the leather seats being nice and soft, the carpets only showing some light wear and it retains its original radio (not tested) The woodwork is superb and appears original and the original toolkit comes with all the original components including the touch up sticks.

The chromework is excellent especially the bumpers which are prone to rusting on these cars.

110 Rover P4s are fitted with a six cylinder, 2.6 litre engine with a Weslake cylinder head making them the most powerful of the P4 range. A four speed gearbox with overdrive is standard.
